APT4SD IN WALES
APT for Social Development previously ran weekly workshops in Talybont, a village near Brecon, which provided participants with an opportunity to learn APT skills in a friendly and inclusive environment. During the sessions participants learnt the basic techniques of APT and were taught how to make useful household items and furniture. Participants then used their creative skills to decorate the items. Those already skilled in APT are able to volunteer to help run the workshops.

All materials are used materials donated by the public, making APT a sustainable and eco-friendly activity. As well as being passionate about the environment, we are committed to promoting the benefits of APT for mental health and emotional wellbeing.. Although we no longer have a physical workshop we can still provide one off sessions- please enquire below. Our sessions are suitable for people with mental ill health, disability, or who feel socially excluded.
