APT4SD IN WALES

APT for Social Development run weekly workshops in Talybont, a village near Brecon, which provides participants with an opportunity to learn APT skills in a friendly and inclusive environment. During the sessions participants learn the basic techniques of APT and are taught how to make useful household items and furniture. Participants then use their creative skills to decorate the items. Those already skilled in APT are able to volunteer to help run the workshops.

All materials are used materials donated by the public, making APT a sustainable and eco-friendly activity. As well as being passionate about the environment, we are committed to promoting the benefits of APT for mental health and emotional wellbeing, and our sessions are suitable for people with mental ill health, disability, or who feel socially excluded.
